We believe that a festival doesn’t have to be about corporate money making schemes, barriers and chemical toilets, or about camping miles from the action and being charged for this, that and the other. Our aim is to provide an event with amazing music, strong family values and value for money, a simple process that produces a strong community feel as well as a very memorable weekend.

We are fussy about everything we do and everything has to be right. The quality of everything from musicians to food is very high on our agenda. I am always honoured to have such amazing musicians play the festival.

ToneFest is a ‘not for profit’ event and any profit we do make is given to our charity for that year. It must be made clear that we are not a charity event and every penny of the ticket money we take is spent on the event. Profit from any merchandise and our cheap bars goes to charity along with donations from the caterer's profits etc.

We don’t have many stewards telling you that you can’t do this and that, however we do have an amazing security team that ensure you are safe whilst on site and that no ‘gate crashers’ get in! A fire plan and safety plan are robust and all staff are trained to deal with any situation. We have an amazing first aid crew and you’re never far from anything you need.

The best bit is that we attract a really top crowd of like minded people that join in, muck in and make the event very special.

We are small by design and operate on a Temporary Events Notice Licence, which limits us to 499 people. It’s a wonderful size for a festival, there’s never much of a queue at our very posh toilets and you can get up close to the musicians with ease to listen and talk to them afterwards about their music.
